#1 Meatballs
Four ingredients? 20 minutes? YES, and these bite size appetizers will always be a hit. Best part, you don’t have to wrap them perfectly! Once you slide them in the oven, the magic happens and they all come out looking just perfect!
Crescent Wrapped Meatballs
Serves 6
Total Time: 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 package (26 oz.) Mama Lucia Italian Meatballs
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups pasta sauce, for dipping
DIRECTIONS
Thaw meatballs in the microwave for 2 minutes. On an ungreased baking sheet, separate crescent rolls into 8 pieces. Cut each piece in half to form two narrow triangles. Place a meatball onto each crescent triangle; pull up corners of roll, wrapping the meatball. Bake according to directions on crescent roll package. If desired, sprinkle cheese on wraps while still warm. Serve with pasta sauce for dipping.

#2 Philly Steak
This is the perfect DIY nacho starter kit! Ideally you can add whatever you like, extra veggies, a little WIZ, hot sauce, ranch; if it’s in the fridge you can add it!
Steak Nachos
Total Time: 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- Philly Gourmet® Sandwich Steaks
- Tortilla chips
- Chopped Tomato
- Shredded Mexican-blend cheese
DIRECTIONS
Cut frozen steaks into 1-inch strips and cook as directed on package. Top platter of tortilla chips with cooked steak strips, jalapeños, tomato and cheese. Heat in microwave or oven to melt cheese.
#3 Sliders
This is my first time trying these and I have to admit they were a huge hit at my house. I’m not sure if kids like them, because of the size or the fun toppings, but sometimes you just need a heat and eat option to put on the table!
#4 Hot Dogs
One thing that I am always guilty of, having hot dogs but not having buns! This is the perfect solution for our house!
Hot Dog Quesadillas
Serves 4
Total Cook Time: 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 4 Hatfield® Hot Dogs or Hatfield® Beef Franks,
- thinly sliced
- 8 flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¾ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp olive oil, or more if needed
- Your favorite salsa, guacamole, and sour cream
DIRECTIONS
Place four tortillas on a clean cutting board. Place hot dogs and cheese on tortillas.
Sprinkle with chili powder and cumin. Top with remaining tortillas. Heat oil in a medium sauté pan over medium heat. Cook each quesadilla for 2 minutes on each side, or until cheese is melted and outsides are golden brown. Cut quesadillas into wedges and serve with salsa, guacamole, and sour cream.

#5 Bacon (and chocolate!)
Everything is better with bacon and the same can be said about chocolate, so why not combine the two in an irresistible sweet ending to game day?
Serves 12
Total Cook Time: 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. Sugardale Bacon
- 1 lb. milk or dark chocolate
- Course sea salt
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400°F. Place a single layer or slices in shallow baking pan. Bake 13-16 minutes or until crisp. Remove bacon from pan and place on a paper towel lined plate to cool. Break up chocolate and place in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds at a time, mixing every time until chocolate is completely melted. Once bacon has cooled, holding one end, dip ¾ of the slice into the chocolate. Making sure to thoroughly coat both sides. Place chocolate dipped bacon on a parchment lined baking tray and sprinkle with sea salt. Repeat with all bacon pieces. Place the tray in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes or until the chocolate it set. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
