If your motto is always to be prepared, translating that into dinner plans may be as simple as keeping ground beef in your freezer. Consider the following recipes and prepare ground beef from Redner’s Markets in diverse dishes.
SHEET PAN MINI MEAT LOAVES
Prep Time: 15 min; Cook Time: 25 min; Total Time: 40 min
Ingredients:
- Meatloaf
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 TBSP minced onion
- 2 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ TBSP tomato paste
- 1 ½ TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup BBQ sauce
- Potatoes
- 1 TBSP mustard
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 1 lb. potatoes, cut into chunks
- ½ tsp salt
- Broccoli
- 3 cups broccoli
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400° and prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper lining. Create a divider to separate your meatloaves from your sides by crinkling up a piece of aluminum foil to put between the foods.
- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, onion, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Combine the ground beef and seasoning with an egg, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix with your hands, keeping the mixture fairly loose.
- Divide the meat into four equal sections. Form each section into a small loaf, placing each on one side of your prepared baking sheet.
- Top each meatloaf with a bit of BBQ sauce.
- Mix the mustard and olive oil in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add the salt and the chunks of potatoes.
- Spread the potatoes on the other side of the baking sheet.
- Put the meatloves and potatoes in the oven and cook for ten minutes.
- Mix the broccoli, olive oil, and salt in a bowl during that time.
- After ten minutes, take the sheet pan from the oven and push the potatoes to the side.
- Put the broccoli in this place.
- Return the pan to the oven and cook for another 20 minutes. The meatloaves must reach 160°. The potatoes should be golden brown and done, and the broccoli should be slightly brown on the extreme edges.
BOX-FREE HAMBURGER HELPER
Prep Time: 10 min; Cook Time: 25 min; Total Time: 35 min
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 2 TBSP tomato paste
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1tsp pepper
- 2 cups beef broth + ¼ cup beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 ¾ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add the ground beef and finely chopped onion.
- Brown the meat and then drain.
- Put the drained ground beef back into the skillet. Add the tomato paste, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about one minute until you can smell the aromatics of the seasonings.
- Raise the heat to high. Pour in the beef broth, stir, and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Stir in the milk and macaroni pasta, and turn the heat down to medium.
- Allow the pasta to simmer without a lid for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- In a small bowl, stir together the cornstarch and beef broth. Add this to the skillet and keep cooking for another few minutes, stirring frequently.
- Take the skillet off the heat and stir in the cheese until well mixed. Let the meal rest for five minutes before serving.
