Reading, Pa. – Redner’s Markets, Inc. today announced plans for its 44th location. Already established in Montgomery county, operating 4 grocery stores and 1 quick shoppe, company President and CEO, Ryan Redner has signed an agreement to open a new market in Audubon with a tentative summer/fall 2019 opening.
The new store will be located within the Audubon Shopping Center. Renovations to the existing building, formerly occupied by a Keller’s grocery store, are slated to begin immediately upon obtaining all needed building permits and will include improvements to the existing building. The store will measure approximately 45,000 square feet upon completion. Audubon Shopping Center Associate, L.P. of King of Prussia owns the property while management will be conducted by the Westover Company.
“We have a great, established relationship with the property owner and are excited about the plans for improvement to this shopping center,” said president Ryan S. Redner. “The addition of several new departments including a café and fuel center, along with fresh cut and a focus on prepared foods within our service departments, is very exciting. I’m confident that we can provide the best, one-stop shopping experience for our guests in this new location.”
The new store will be a full-service grocery store offering services such as; beer & wine café, full-service departments such as bakery, deli, meat/seafood and produce, along with frozen, dairy, health and beauty aids/non-foods and grocery departments. For the guest’s added convenience, the store will feature self-checkout registers. Guests will also be able to take advantage of Redner’s Rewards Red Points to redeem on a fuel purchase at the Redner’s fuel kiosk to be located within the shopping center. At full operating conditions, this store will employ approximately 130 people in both full and part-time positions.
