Redner’s Announces New Store, First Redner’s Fresh Market, in Lewes, De.
Reading, Pa. – Redner’s Markets, Inc. today announced plans for its 45th location. Already established in Sussex county, with stores in Georgetown & Milford, company President and CEO, Ryan Redner has signed an agreement to open a new market in Lewes with a tentative spring 2021 opening. A media announcement has been planned for Tuesday, February 18 at 1 pm to be held at the Fernmoor Homes Mi-Place at Vinyards rental office (12001 Old Vine Blvd, Unit 108 in Lewes, De).
The new store will be located within the Vinyards at Nassau Valley. A new construction site, construction is slated to begin immediately upon obtaining all needed building permits in June 2020. Construction will be conducted by SMJ Contractors Inc. of Douglassville (Pa). The store will measure approximately 49,000 square feet upon completion. The shopping center is owned and operated by Fernmoor Holding at Vinyards L.L.C.

Redner. “The addition of our Redner’s Fresh Market to a shopping center such as Vinyards will be sure to create a truly unique shopping experience. Our focus for this store will be to provide a rewarding experience to our guests by offering a variety of prepared foods within our service departments while still providing the values we have been known for in our 50 years of business. I’m confident that we can provide the best, one-stop shopping experience for our guests in this new location.”
The new store will focus on guest’s requests utilizing full-service departments such as bakery, deli, service meat& seafood, produce and chef prepared meal solutions. In addition to the service departments guest can shop over 45,000 items within the frozen, dairy, health & beauty aids/non-foods and grocery departments. For the guest’s added convenience, the store will feature self-checkout registers. Guests will also be able to take advantage of Redner’s Rewards to redeem on a fuel purchases at the Redner’s fuel kiosk to be located within the shopping center. At full operating conditions, this store will employ approximately 115-130 people in both full and part-time positions.
